This fall, Agora Gallery will open its doors to 45, the debut solo exhibition from New York City artist, Ryan Ratelle.
The collection presents 45 original works in bold graphic screen print and mixed media sculpture, each exploring themes of transformation, cultural influence, and lived experience.
For Ratelle, the number 45 is more than a milestone — it’s a marker of growth, creativity, and the closing of one chapter to begin another. Growing up in a small Connecticut town bound by unspoken rules about race, religion, and sexuality, Ratelle used art as both rebellion and refuge — a way to see himself clearly and claim his own identity.
Beyond his visual work, Ratelle is a producer, publicist, and the Co-Founder of RRR Creative, where he has built brand identities, led award-winning publicity campaigns, and produced the acclaimed Whitney Houston biopic I Wanna Dance with Somebody.
“When you spend your youth hiding, you learn the power of showing up,” said Ratelle. “This collection puts it all on display — every work a small rebellion, a truth finally spoken aloud.”
Hosted by AGI Fine Art, 45 offers visitors an inspiring experience where art, identity, and personal history meet in vivid conversation.
