Doris Arnaud was born in August , 1970 in the city of Marseilles (France) where she spent the most part of her life .
It is unfortunate that she had to abandon her studies quite early due to a very tumultuous adolescence . At the tender age of 20 , she decides to found a family and thus her first child Franck is born . She is fulfiled as a young mother but her relationship is a total failure and leads to a separation . Alone with her son , with no diplomas , no employment , she is forced to live difficult moments , with no future in sight . One day she finally chooses to take matters in her own hands . In november 1993 , she goes to visit her mother in Montreal ( Quebec - Canada ) , hoping that this stay may help her to see life more clearly . Her 4 month stay permits her to discover Montreal and fall in love with this wonderful city and its people , and realizes that a new world has opened up to her , a new world filled with hopes . In May 1994 , Doris and her son make Montreal their permanent home. At the beginning odd jobs help her to survive while waiting to find her true vocation. Without really knowing why she is drawn towards the fine arts, curiosity leads her to take courses in a small paint workshop where she learns the basics of what fine art really is . She discovers a means of expression and communication that permits her to release her emotions trapped within her. But most of all painting is a means of escape that gives her a feeling of well-being. Painting is very stimulating to her and fuels her passion for creativity. At this point she is convinced that she has found her walk of life. At 25 , she becomes interested in photography and undertakes studies in that field. These studies were important to her, but found that the courses " lacked " the artistic side. That same college also offered courses in photoshop in which she enrolls, and she finds a new fascinating world in digital art with unlimited possibilities to create. Upon completion of these studies, she starts working for a company specializing in children's school photography. She enjoys working with the children, and works hard on her computer every chance she gets to fulfil her passion. She manipulates her own photos with photoshop effects and she later experiments the different ways to digitally paint and leads her to further explore abstract digital art. November 2000, Laetitia is born, Doris's second child from her union with her husband Frank. Being a full-time mother, she remains at home with baby permiting her to work quite often on her style of art and really improve her power of creativity. Her first creations come to life! These works of art impress many in her entourage who encourage her to continue and to exhibit these early creations. All this leads to the birth of "Vogart", her website to exhibit and sell her artwork.ri |
