Born in Mozambique in 1947. Living in Portugal since 1974.
At the start of the millennia, I decided to dedicate myself entirely to painting as a way of life to continue working with joy, passion and creativity, and I started a learning period, which is continuous, with mention to the following: Introduction to painting at the National Society of the Arts (SNBA) (1984) Introduction to painting at INATEL (2000) Introduction to painting at INATEL (2001) Introduction to painting at SNBA (2001 – 2004) 2 workshops of Chinese calligraphy - sumie – Dojo Zen in Lisbon (2002) Summer course in 'Eastern influence in Contemporary art in the West' Drawing course at Rosa Fazenda’s Atelier (Art’s teacher and sculptor)( 2003) Universal History and Art History – Medical Science Faculty 'Awareness to Modern and Contemporary Art' – Centro Cultural de Belém I have participated in various individual and collective exhibitions, namely: 2001 – Pontinha’s borough collective exhibition 2002 – Individual exhibition at “A Brasileira” (Chiado) 2 exhibitions (individual and collective) at Fórum Picoas 2003 – Trindade’s art gallery (collective) 2004 – Auto-Clube Médico (individual) Barata’s Gallery (individual) Centro Cultural Malaposta (individual) Tagus Terrace (Individual) Mãe d'Agua (collective) Represented in private collections: Portuguese Presidency; Various Governmental Ministries; Lisbon’s City Hall; Mozambique’s Presidency; Various Private collections in Portugal, Canada, United Kingdom, S.
