"...It takes about 3 weeks to complete a painting. I use Holbein Watercolors and Fabriano Uno cold press 300 pound heavy weight paper... Then I have a scan or transparency made... and if I like it, I have it printed... All my works that are available for purchase are either the original watercolor painting or a true Lithographic Print. I worked in printing for many years and learned the importance of high quality lithography. It is costly but for me its the only way. ( I am always so exited waiting for the delivery of a new print job). I paint in the loft of our log home in the woods. There is a big area of glass that overlooks the forest. The view while I paint is tranquil.( but i did paint the front door swimming pool blue...and the living room purple...) Well thats about it, Thank You for taking the time to read some of my little story..." |
