Nadine Arrieta war born in 1959 in St Jean de Luz in the Basque Country (South-West of France). Currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand.
Educated at the Sorbonne University, Paris and different art schools in France and the USA. Considers herself largely self-taught as a painter however. A professional artist since the early 1980's, she participated in a number of shows in Paris and Aix en Provence and sold her works privately. She was also commissioned for several murals in the South of France. Since arriving in Auckland, Arrieta has for the first time been able to be a full time artist and exhibits her paintings and drawings there. |
