Annie has started as an exhibitioning painter in Southern Sweden in 1990. She attended art schools and sold her work to art organizations of some well-known companies.
1997 she has started to work with childrens'books illustrations and script, illustrated to her own poems and practically decided to let drawing and illustrating take over fine art. The artist has also attended an illustrator school in Malmö and now is ready for assignments! As techniques she uses acrylic, aquarelle, Indian ink, pencil, colored pencil, sometimes pastel as well. Oil paint is being used rarely. She dedicates her work mostly to people, their relationship and environment. Also abstract and surrealistic is an intresting theme in her work. Recently she has adopted the digital technique and is using it as alternative to her traditional painting or combined. |
