Among various of Arnold's highlights, he accompanied The Yardbirds during their entire October 2003 tour. And he has played festivals with Alvin Lee and Joe Cocker. For his earlier work, he also received national recognition in Germany for CD production of the year in 2002.
With his new band, the Buffalo Fish, he is continuing to bring Germany authentic American-influenced music of a sort seldom found in Europe. Reminiscent of acts like the Eels or The Dave Matthews band, they make timeless rock, played solidly, with lots of rhythmic variation. It's fun music. It's thoughtful music. And its the kind of music that doesn't wear old easily.
The Buffalo Fish are Darrell Arnold (vocals and guitar), Klaus Marner (drums), Deddi Köhne (bass) and Constantin Petrescu (guitar, keyboards, violin).
The other band members are veteran musicians from the European music scenery, each with hundreds or even thousands of concerts under his belt. At the service of Arnold's compositions, the band's versatile talents result in diverse, rockin' melodic songs. This is a live act not to be missed.
All of the songs listed here are written by Darrell Arnold and arranged together with the band.
